Earning a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Business Administration-Management from the College of William and Mary
in Virginia in 1968, Dan delayed the start of his business career briefly by
enlisting in the U.S. Army upon graduation. With a tour of duty in
Vietnam and the Army infantry experience behind him (Two Army Commendation
Medals and other infantry combat awards), Dan was honorably discharged in
1970.
The supermarket business
was a logical beginning career path for Dan then, and he became an assistant
manager with a leading chain supermarket in Virginia. Yet in 1971, Dan
was drawn to a sales career wit the Campbell Soup Company. He and his new wife,
Cindy, left Virginia for Boston and an assignment with Campbell's managing
a north New England sales territory.
Dan saw that he loved working with customers in sales and marketing and
loved helping his customers and clients satisfy their business needs; he
succeeded also assisting them in growing their businesses.
He later led and managed
textile distributor sales serving the hospitality and healthcare markets in
Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Dan found enormous excitement
and reward in serving hundreds of "friends"---hotels, clubs, medical
centers, nursing centers, and government agencies. He was recognized
for his leadership and selling skills in a promotion to the position of
vice-president for a prominent national distributor.
With a strong desire to learn about real estate as a career, Dan
enrolled in Principles or Real Estate at the Northern Virginia Community
College in 1995 and earned an "A". Dan became licensed in Virginia
that same year and has been driven by increasing his formal knowledge
through ongoing work. Dan subsequently completed licensing
requirements and earned both the Virginia Appraiser and Virginia
Associate Broker designations.
Having lived in northern Virginia since the 1960's, Dan's knowledge of
the real estate market is exceptional. Offering his clients
superior, personalized service and the highest professional
representation is Dan's commitment and passion. Skilled with years
of successful sales and marketing accomplishments, and highly focused
each day on pre-monitoring real estate trends and market indicators, Dan
has become a multi-million dollar producer by concentrating on each
client's needs individually and delivering full-service-plus results.

Dan and his wife, Cindy, live locally. Gardening and explorations
of the Old Dominion are always on the to-do list when not helping
clients and friends.
